The original 23250-62040 (brown) injectors have a known internal solenoid defect that leads to failure over time, particularly in high-mileage engines.

Symptoms typically start with intermittent random misfires, which become more consistent as the engine reaches normal operating temperature.

Eventually, the internal injector solenoid fails completely, causing a permanent misfire.
